Loudon Wins 20-12 Over Spring City In 2026 Season Opener For Both Teams

Fort Loudon Turns Late Turnover Into Touchdown For the Win

Spring City, Tennessee - 8/6/26

Spring City Middle School hosted Loudon Middle in Football Action to open the 2026 season for both teams.

Captains for Loudon: # 2 Alijah Jonas, # 18 Alden Taylore, # 79 Alex Hembree and # 99 Robert Hendrickson. Captains for Spring City: # 2 Kinsley Walker, # 6 Easton Fuller, and # 53 David Freeman. Kinsley Walker and Cooper Collins were deep for the kickoff from Loudon's Alden Taylore. # 59 Mason Smith recovered the onside kick at the Bulldogs' 47-yard line.

Bulldogs scored on the first possession with the final big play a 40 plus yard touchdown pass from Easton Fuller to Kemper Collins. The two-point attempt was uncomplete and Bulldogs led 6-0 with 6:05 left on first quarter clock. Fort Loudon fielded the onside kick and began their initial drive near midfield. Alden Taylore had a 20 plus run for Braves to put Fort Loudon at first-and-goal inside the 10-yard line. Bulldogs defense and a couple of penalties kept the Braves out of the endzone and Spring City took over inside the 10-yard line.

Bulldogs were forced to a three-and-out by the Braves and Jordan Allen had a nice punt return, which was negated by a penalty, but Braves began their drive near the Bulldogs' 35-yard line. Loudon's drive ended after a stop on 4th and 8 by the Bulldogs' 52 Torin Moody and the Bulldogs defense

Kinsley Walker had a nice 10 plus yard run for Bulldogs Fort Louden stopped the Bulldogs and 4th down play and took over around the 33 of the Bulldogs. Jordan Allen had nice sideline catch for the Bulldogs to move the Braves inside the 20 of the Bulldogs. Loudon ran out of time as halftime horn sounded with Braves inside the Spring City 20-yard line.

Alijah Jonas returned the Kemper Collins onside kick to setup Loudon to start the second half around the midfield line. Rylan Newman found Allen for the touchdown pass of 20 plus yards to tie the game and Bulldogs' defense stopped the two-point attempt to keep the score tied 6-6 with 3:19 on the third quarter clock. After stopping the next Loudon drive, the Bulldogs struck quickly with Easton Fuller finding Kemper Collins for the 40 plus yard touchdown pass. Braves thwarted the Bulldog two-point attempt and scored stood at 12-6 late in the third quarter and end 12-6 after three quarters.

Loudon scored on their first series of the 4th quarter and Bulldog defense kept Braves out of the endzone for two-point attempts to keep the score at 12-12 early in the 4th quarter with 5:49 showing on the clock. Bulldogs turned the ball over on the next series as Jordan Allen stripped the ball from the receiver and picked up the loose ball and ran for 20 plus yards for the go-a-head touchdown with just over five minutes remaining in the game. Loudon added the only successful two-point play of the game to take the 20-12 lead.

Walker brought the Braves' kickoff back to midfield. Bulldogs turned the ball over and Loudon killed the clock to end the game with 20-12 win on the road
