Willetta Morris 77 of Dayton, Tennessee died Friday November 15, 2024 at the Spring City Care and Rehab Center.

Born in Grandview, she was the daughter of the late William and Minnie Godsey Daniels. Willetta was a graduate of Spring City High School, “Class of 1967”. After graduation, she worked several years at Robinson Mfg. Co. in Dayton; before she started her family. Willetta loved Loretta Lynn, gospel music and fishing. She was a member of the Pleasantdale Baptist Church. 

Willetta was also preceded in death by her brother Earl Daniels.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years Claude Morris of Dayton, her children Crystal (Dale) Minton of Evensville and Scottie (Dana) Morris of Dayton, her step daughter Janice Ray of Dayton, her brothers J.B. Daniels, Benny Daniels, Floyd Daniels, Chester Daniels, and Doyle Daniels all of Spring City and her sisters Loretta Morris, Deanna Bennett, Ramona Lehman, Freida Adams and Helena Woody all of Spring City, her grandchildren Sarah, Kayla, Bradley, Haley, Wesley, Jacob, Katie, Josh, Tyler and Zack, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 18, 2024 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville. The family will receive friends at Vaughn Funeral Home Monday from 1 to 3pm.
