Rhea County hosts Walker Valley on Friday night with most games still on with the worst of weather apparently behind us in the Southeast Tennessee area. This will be the opening region game for Rhea, and they will have homecoming festivities before the game. Coach Taylor Harvey will go up against the team he was on the sidelines for last year as Walker won over the Eagles. Coach Taylor did not want to make the focus on him for this game, but you can be sure there will be emotions for the former Mustang coach. Walker Valley and Eagles share a common foe in Cleveland. Walker owns wins over Notre Dame (54-22), Polk County(34-0), Bradley Central(28-7) and Ooltewah(35-0)(last week).Team has offensive firepower, plays hard and is well coached by Drew Akins. The Eagles come in with a 2-2 record and will celebrate homecoming before the game. Homecoming begins at 6;30 and the game begins at 7:00 pm.
