Ulysses Edwards age 52 of Evensville, Tennessee died on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on January 19, 1972 to the late William Bill and Betty Merrill Edwards and was a lifetime resident of this area. Ulysses attended Rhea County High School. He worked at Rogers Group Quarry for 21 years. Ulysses also worked as a pipefitter for Local #43. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, building log cabins, and being outdoors. Ulysses was a jack of all trades and was considered to be a “Golden Arm Welder”. He loved his family, especially his boys and grandchildren. Ulysses was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife Tanya Edwards of Evensville, Tennessee; his sons Aaron (Amanda) Edwards of Dayton, Tennessee and Chase Edwards with U.S. Army Ft. Carson, Colorado; his brothers Robert Edwards, David (Glenna) Edwards, and Paul Edwards all of Evensville, Tennessee; his grandchildren Maverick, Griffin, and Andi, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Revis officiating. Interment will follow in the Edwards Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
