Davidson Named Head Coach of Newest College Level Sport
DAYTON, TN - The Bryan College Athletic Department is proud to announce Tracy Davidson as the Head Pickleball Coach.
Tracy has immersed herself into the ever growing sport of pickleball over the past 3 years. She has played and won multiple tournaments throughout the southeast since beginning playing pickleball. "It is safe to say I'm addicted to the sport" - Davidson expressed.
Tracy has been working with Bryan College for 5 years as a Senior Admissions Counselor. Prior to working for Bryan, she was a student in the late 1990s where she met her husband, Bryan Men's Soccer Coach, Jeremy Davidson. When asked about being named founding head coach of the program and joining athletics alongside her husband "We both have the privilege of giving back to the school that meant so much to us."
Tracy has been married 27 years and she and Jeremy have three kids who all have attended or are currently attending Bryan - one daughter and two sons. Brynn, Landon, and Beckham. Brynn graduated with her undergrad and graduate degrees, Landon will graduate in December with his undergrad, and Beck is a sophomore.
Outside of her life at Bryan she loves time with family, reading, working in the yard, and playing pickleball of course!
Davidson will be hosting a student tournament to use as a tryout to find current students who may be interested and have the skills to play at a high level and get ready to kick start the program in the 2024-2025 academic year. She will also be hosting a variety of tournaments for younger high school, FCA groups, & adults to begin establishing a community, which she believes is the foundation of pickleball.
