Lady Bulldogs Win 12-0; Celebrate Maysa Hampton and Abbagayle Buffenbarger

Spring City - 9/3/24

Spring City Softball hosted Athens Middle on 8th Grade Night 2024. Before the game, fans, teammates and coaches took time to celebrate the middle school careers of Maysa Hampton and Abbagayle Buffengarger. Abbagayle was escorted by Natasha and Scott Buffenbarger and Maysa was escorted by Cindy and T.J. Hampton.

The Lady Bulldogs jumped on Athens for seven first inning runs to take control of the game. 8th grader Maysa Hampton pitched a shutout with four innings pitched. She allowed one hit and struck out 9. Maysa also had a hit, scored two runs and knocked in a run. Fellow 8th grader Abbagayle Buffenbarger had a triple and one run in the game. Ella Mullins also had a triple for the Lady Bulldogs and Talayia Smith had a home run during the seven inning first inning. Spring City turned 7 hits and 5 walks into 12 runs in the win. Tayaysia Smith had two hits to lead all batters.
