Spring City Football Runs Record to 6-0

Oak Ridge, Tn -- Spring City continued the unbeaten season with a 54-12 win on the road on Thursday night. Game was played in Oak Ridge. Game was tied 0-0 at end of first quarter. In second quarter Keshawn Smith came up with interception and Bulldogs went up 8-0 after the Latron Alloway conversion. Auston Dodd blocked a punt and picked up ball and returned for touchdown as he dragged a player into end zone. The two point conversion was no good. Bulldogs' Mosley scored the third touchdown of the half and Alloway added the two point conversion for 22-0 lead at the half.
In second half, Latron Alloway scored the first touchdown as he fought off several tacklers on his way into the end zone. Alloway tacked on two point conversion to put score to 30-0 in third quarter. Robertsville got on the socreboard with touchdown but was unsuccessful on two point conversion and Bulldogs lead 30-6, but shortly after Spring City added eight points on Alloway touchdown and conversion for 38-6 lead. Robertsville responded with their own touchdown to cut lead to 38-12 with 1:21 left in the third quarter. Austin Dodd scored his second touchdown of the game and Cooper Brackett added two point conversion to run lead to 46-12, which was score at end of three quarters. Keshawn Smith added the final touchdown and Alloway scored the two point conversion for the 54-12 final.
Sprng City head coach Anthony Loden said, "I am very proud of our teams performance last night. Started out slow but got better as the game went along. Had to make some changes this week due to injuries. But over all very proud and happy to be 6-0."
