Spring City, TN -- Spring City continued its impressive opening of the season with a 38-0 win over Bledsoe Middle last week. The bulldogs will continue their four game home stand with 7:30 pm game against Sequatchie County on Thursday, August 22nd.
Hunter Crowe was the first to put the bulldogs on the board with a short run. Later after a blocked punt by Tug Baldassaro, Tank Alloway rambled for over 50 yards for the touchdown and then added the two point conversion. With 3:15 left in the first quarter, Hunter Crowe finished a short run for the third touchdown and bulldogs added conversion for 22-0 lead.
In the second quarter, Cameron Ariks made big hit on the kickoff and Hunter Crowe came up with the loose ball to setup Bulldogs deep in Bledsoe territory. Alloway had the long run for touchdown and Hunter Crowe the two point conversion to give Bulldogs 30-0 lead at the halftime juncture.
On the last touchdown of the night, Alloway walked into end zone withoug any significant contact and Bulldogs added two point conversion for the final 38-0 score.
Spring City head coach Anthony Loden was able to get lots of work for non-starters, which should be very beneficial down the road.
