Shorthanded Eagles Win Behind Geer, Smith and Ervin
Evensville, TN -- Rhea County hosted Concord Christian Academy on Thursday, November 21, 2024. With Caleb Carr and Mason Ford sitting on the end of bench and unavailable, the Eagles had double figure scoring from Braylon Geer 23, KeShawn Smith 16 and Sammy Ervin 10 to win 69-53. Geer, Smith and Garrison led the Eagles with 8,8 and 7 rebounds. Lind and Keeton were the leading scorers on the night for Concord with 12 and 11 points. The Eagles will next play on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 vs Meigs County.
Rhea jumped out to a 21-9 lead early with Geer, Ervin and Smith each scoring 7,6 and 6 points each. Keeton helped Concord rebound for 15-11 second quarter advantage with 8 points, six of those on 3-point bombs. The Eagles increased their 33-22 halftime lead to 48-31 after 3 quarters.
