Evensville, TN -- Spring City Middle Bulldogs fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 12-0 loss to Rhea Middle on Thursday. Rhea Middle scored on a single by Ella Wilkey and a triple by Ansley Breeding in the first inning.

The Spring City Middle Bulldogs struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Rhea Middle, giving up 12 runs. Rhea Middle got on the board in the first inning when Ella Wilkey singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

A single by Raylee Fuller in the first inning was a positive for Spring City Middle Bulldogs. Zoe Reese also had a single. Carleigh Ashley earned the victory on the rubber for Rhea Middle. The hurler surrendered zero runs on three hits over four innings, striking out six and walking one.

Maysa Hampton took the loss for Spring City Middle Bulldogs. The righthander allowed nine hits and 12 runs over three innings, striking out six. Raylee Fuller continued her offensive power and going 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Spring City Middle Bulldogs in hits. Spring City Middle Bulldogs were sure handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jaslyn Butler had the most chances in the field with five.

Rhea Middle racked up nine hits on the day. Ella Wilkey and Ansley Breeding each racked up multiple hits for Rhea Middle. Ella Wilkey led Rhea Middle with three hits in three at bats. Rhea Middle didn't commit a single error in the field. Ella had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
