Teachers Achieve Level 5

Evensville, TN -- The Exemplary Teacher Banquet was held at Rhea County High School on Monday, October 21, 2019.. These tested teachers scored a Level 5, the highest level possible, on their personal TVAAS (Tennessee Value Added Assessment) as reported from TN Ready testing from the 2018-19 school year. A Level 5 indicates that on average, their students surpassed the expected growth within one school year. Rhea County School system had a total of 14 active teachers scoring a Level 5 last year.

The 14 active teachers recognized for 2019 were Kris Hill, Kathy Garrison, Jennifer Thompson, Stacy Hampton, Jamie Opperman, Sherry Taylor, Kathy DeArman, Charlene Schwenk, Justin Roberson, Mart Shelton, Barry West, Jennifer Douglas, Debbie Wilson, and Katie Yates.
