Pendergrass Throws 2 hitter, Cunningham, Kinney & Schmitt Have Multiple RBI

Walker Valley hosted Rhea County for the second night in a row and the Eagles won this game 10-0 behind Reese Pendergrass's 2 hitter for the 10-0 win. Pendergrass struck out 6 and allowed only 1 walk on the night. On offense, Jim Cunningham had 3 RBI to lead the Eagles and Jax Schmitt and Casen Kinney each added 2 RBI. Casen Kinney, Jax Schmitt and Corydon Butter each had 2 hits to lead the Eagles in that category. The Eagles opened up a 6-0 lead in the top of the 4th inning in what had been a scoreless game coming into the inning. The Eagles added 4 more runs in the 5th to complete the scoring in a shortened 5 inning game. Brady Williams and Jim Cunningham had doubles for the Eagles. Dakota Kilby, Corydon Butler and Casen Kinney(3) stole bases for Rhea County.
