Rev. Frank Sherrill age 84 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on August 3, 1940 to the late Gaines and Hattie Reed Sherrill and was a lifetime resident of this area. Frank went to school in Clearview, Ohio. He returned to Spring City and met his wife of 63 years Jessie Sherrill. Frank worked at Southern Silk Mill, TVA, City of Spring City, and retired from the Rhea County Department of Education. He was the Pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Spring City for 23 years until his retirement. He loved to go to Pigeon Forge, hunt, fish, and play his guitar.

Frank is also preceded in death by his grandson Brian Dean Owens, his great granddaughter Nora Jean Sherrill, his sisters Carrie Smith and Ollie Mincey, and his brothers Rainy, Roger, Arnold, and Fred Sherrill.

Survivors include his wife Jessie Sherrill of Spring City, Tennessee; his children Teresa (Donnie) Hinch of Grandview, Tennessee, Darrell (Mary Ann) Sherrill of Crossville, Tennessee, Rita Owens, Dean (Beth) Sherrill, Claude (Jeanna) Sherrill, and Janie (Scotty) Holloway all of Spring City, Tennessee; his 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Hinch and Rev. Kevin Fugate officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson Stand Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
