Rev. Dale Lee Hunter

Rev. Dale Lee Hunter, age 79 of Evensville, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 21, 1945, in Thirtyfour Corner, Missouri, the son of the late Raymond and Sylvia (Biven) Hunter. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary Hunter.

Dale lived in Kelseyville, California before moving to Evensville in 2021. He attended Elim Bible Institute in Lima, New York, he pastored in Indiana, Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and California. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, enjoyed fishing and was a member of City Church in Dayton.

He is survived by his wife, Martha (Chamberlain) Hunter of Evensville; his three children, Teresa (Gabe) Cowan of Kelseyville, CA, David (Simona) Hunter of Australia, and Jason (Alyce) Hunter of Kelseyville, CA; his sister, Rebecca (Kyle) Allen of TX; his sister-in-law, Marie (Larry) Eastman of Evensville; and his 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at City Church of Dayton with Rev. Bobby Scott officiating. Rev. Hunter was laid to rest in Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville.
