Rhea Schools Garner 7 Top 10 Finishes

McMinnville, Tn -- Rhea County High School and Rhea County Middle School Cross-Country Teams traveled to McMinnville for the Pioneer Invitational and brought home 7 top 10 finsihes between the two teams. Competition has held on campus of Wrren County High School. Rhea County sent 15 runners to the event(4 middle school) and (11 high school). The middle school runner competing were Jackson Smith, Skilar Sedman Braylnn Buter and Abby Rogers. The high school runners competing were Liya Butt, Emily Cahtey, Hayle Zawisza, Alyssa Morris, Tori Smith, Maelyn Cook, Leviticus Davis, Alvin Bishop, Jackson Meyers, Bass Neal and Artem Serohyn.
For the high school the top finishers were: Hayle Zawisza (8th), Alyssa Morris (7th), , Alvin Bishop (6th), Emily Cathey (3rd), and Liya Butt(1st).
The schedule shows the team next in action @ the John Freeman Invitaional which will be held at the Webb School in Bell Buckle Tennessee on September 3rd, 2022.
