Eagles finish 2nd Behind Walker Valley and Lady Eagles Finish 3rd Behind Cleveland and Bradley

Rhea County High School Golf teams finished 2nd and 3rd(girls) in the district tournament matches held at Flagstone Golf Course, located outside of Cleveland on Monday, 9/25/23. Several local teams competed in the end-of-the-year post-season tournament. Walker Valley finished first for Boys's division ahead of Rhea County. Bradley Central finished 3rd. The top 3 teams advanced to Region Play, which will be held at Flagstone Golf Course on Monday 10/2/23.

In girls' division, Cleveland finished first and Bradley finished 2nd. Rhea County finished 3rd in the tournament after winning a playoff with Walker Valley as both teams finished with 189 in regular play.

Competing in the tournament were: Bradley Central, Cleveland, McMinn County, Sequoyah, Rhea County and Walker Valley.

The Rhea County boys had two golfers finish in the top 5, Eli Everett(74, 5th) and Blake James(81 T9th). Two Lady Eagle golfers finished in top 10 with Alyssa Stinnett(90 4th) and Nikkita Pilcher(99 7th). Full results are below.
