Robert Edward Ferguson, Sr., age 88 of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Life Care Center of Red Bank. He was born in Chattanooga on April 22, 1935, the son of the late Robert Lee Ferguson and Rowena Lucille (Craig) Ferguson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ferguson.

Robert lived in Chattanooga since 1999 after being raised in Rhea County. He was a graduate of Chattanooga High School, attended University of Chattanooga, was a magazine salesman, enjoyed golfing and singing, and was of the Baptist faith.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Brown of Chattanooga, his two sons, Robert (Barbara) Ferguson, Jr. of Hixson and Gabriel (Jennifer) Ferguson of Rossville, GA; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Robert will be laid to rest at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton.
