August 22, 1948 - March 9, 2024 

On March 9, 2024, the world lost an amazing woman and Heaven gained a beautiful angel,   Linda Gail Williams Sims took her last breath here on Earth at 6:51 pm with her family surrounding her bedside.   She loved her family with all her heart.  Spending time with her five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren was her most favorite pasttime. She loved crafts and Christmas and always made Christmas special for all that she loved.  

Linda is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Sims, and her parents Joseph and Allene Williams. Left here to miss her are her three daughters Angelia (Chuck/Paul) Pugh, Shelley (Kevin) Herron, and Aimee (Damon) Gentry, her five amazing grandchildren Zack (Megan) Pugh, Bailey (Jimmy) Vanosdale, Katee Herron, Chase Gentry, and Allee Herron.  She is also survived by her smallest joys Maverek, Oona, and Indie Pugh and little Jeter Vanosdale who is due in June of this year. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters Judy (Bob) Meyer, Peggy (David) Smith, Karen (Rick) Knight, and her brother Tony (Debbie) Williams and many nieces and nephews

We will forever miss our mother and Nana, but she said that “God is ready for me”, and she could not keep Him waiting.  

We will have visitation at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, TN on March 12th  from 5-7 p.m  and one hour before the Celebration of Life at  New Providence United Methodist Church in Sale Creek, TN  on Wednesday March 13th with the Celebration of Life beginning at 2 p.m..  Burial will be immediately after at Rhea Memory Gardens.
