October 21, 1949 - July 3, 2024

Carl Wayne Brady, age 74 of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his home. He was born in Rhea County on October 21, 1949, the son of the late Wilburn Brady and Agnes June (Coxey) Brady. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn (Simmons) Brady.

Carl lived in Dayton all of his life. He graduated from Rhea Central High School in the Class of 69, and was employed as a truck driver.

He is survived by his two children, Jason Brady, and Misty Mooneyham of Pikeville; his four grandchildren, including Cody (Alex) Hickman of Soddy Daisy; his four great-grandchildren; his brother, Richard Brady of Dayton; and his sister, Brenda Hallberg of Chattanooga.

Graveside funeral services for Carl will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Rhea Memory Gardens with Rev. Morgan George officiating.
