August 18, 1990 - February 28, 2024

Cameron Howard Goins, age 33 of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at his home. He was born in Chattanooga on August 18, 1990, the son of Dirk and Lisa (Owings) Goins who survive him. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lena Owings; his two uncles, Matt Goins and Mark Owings; and his two aunts, Rebecca Goins, and Tabitha Goins.

Cameron was raised in Dayton and graduated from Rhea County High School. He enjoyed woodworking, bowling, and fishing. He also loved the TN VOLS, but being an uncle was his favorite thing.

He is survived by his parents; his two brothers, Kenzie (Tiffany) Goins of Birchwood, and Krischan (Mollie) Goins of Dayton; his sister, Caylan (Ben) Buckner of Chattanooga; his grandparents, Malcolm and Linda Goins of Dayton; his grandfather, Larry Owings of Dayton; his two nephews, Dax Goins of Birchwood, and Maverick Goins of Dayton; his niece, Lena Goins of Dayton; his two uncles, Aaron (Amanda) Goins and Mike Owings, both of Dayton; his two aunts, Laura (Rusty) Revis of Dayton and Heather (Jason) Dye of Chattanooga; and his 11 cousins, Madeline Goins, Allie Goins, Amos Goins, Kevin (Patterson) Revis, Jacob (Kristen) Revis, Millie Revis, Chatt Revis, Coulter Bear Revis, Savannah (Garrett) Hill and Brooks Hill, all of Dayton, and Saeri Goins of Chattanooga; his great-aunts and great-uncles; and his many additional cousins.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, TN where they will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Cameron will be held at Sale Creek Church of God on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rusty Revis and Rev. Terry Bolton officiating. Cameron will lie in state at the church after 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
