Lady Eagles Push Record to 12-4-1 With Wins Over Ooltewah and Oak Ridge

Evensville, TN -- The Rhea County High School Soccer team recently won two games to improve their season record to 12-4-1 and sophomore player Laurel Butt broke the season goal mark with her 24th and 25 goals. She was presented a symbolic soccer ball at the Ooltewah game, when she broke the season mark during a 2-1 win by the Lady Eagles. Also scoring a goal in the Ooltweah game was Cammie Ruehling. In their next game on the road, Laurel improved her season total to 24 goals and Kloe Reeves added a goal in the 2-0 win, while Anna Grace Fraley had the shutout in goal.

Lady Eagles host Bradley Central Saturday at 4pm for the first round of the District Tournament. If they win, they will play Tuesday at McMinn County, 7pm kickoff for the District Semifinal. If Lady Eagles win that game, they will play in the District Championship game Thursday October 13th at 7pm, place TBD.
