Ms. Kimberly Messimer, age 58, of Pikeville, TN passed away at her home Friday, March 8, 2024. Kimberly was a life-long resident of the area, of the Christian faith, and a member of the Summer City Church of God. She loved her family and most of all she loved our Lord. Kimberly was a friend to all, and an avid gardener with a “green thumb” that always found a way of making things flourish & grow around her. ”She was an absolute loving & tender mother, an adored aunt, and an attentive daughter. She would give the jacket off her back to a stranger in need and was a truly and genuine extremely grateful person. She gave the best hugs and never made you feel alone. She was uncanny and had an ability to resonate with people in a deep & positive way. She was a shoulder to cry on and a laugh when you need it. In her last years, she worked as a caregiver, but prior to that she worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield for over 20 years.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, Perry Sullivan and brother, Chris Sullivan.
Ms. Messimer is survived by her mother, Martha Sullivan of Pikeville, TN; daughter, Chloe Messimer of Graysville, TN; sister, Jennifer ( Sam) Katz of Pikeville and brother, Craig (Angie) Sullivan of Dayton; and nieces and nephews, Taylor (Jessie) Wilkey, Keely Lockhart, Hunter (Robert) Smith, Megan (Josh) Miller, and Nathan Sullivan.
