Kathleen Reece age 81 of Spring City, Tennessee died on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Rhea Medical Center.

She was born on August 11, 1942 in Joplin, Missouri to the late Henry B. and Pearl Aileen Stone Cook and has been a resident of this area since 1988. Kathleen worked at children’s homes in Missouri. She loved watching TV and working puzzles. Kathleen enjoyed people and her family. She was a member of Spring City Methodist Church.

Kathleen was also preceded in death by her husband Bobby G. Reece.

Survivors include her children Gwen (Steve) Lauretta of Everett, Washington, Gladys (Ryan) Pico of Monroe, Washington, Bobby (Andrea) Reece of Toney, Alabama, Glen (Tina) Reece and Darren Reece both of Spring City, Tennessee; her sister Gloria Myers of Jackson, Missouri, her 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Grant officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
