JROTC and Nation Guard Team Up

Trip to Jump Park Brings Guard and Students Together

Chattanooga, TN -- Three Rhea County High School Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps(  JROTC) Cadets went to DEFY(Superfly) jump park in Chattanooga on Thursday, September 26th as guests of the National Guard. The trip was both educational and fun.

The National Guard and the students had a good time and talked about their plans for the future. Students received helpful advice on how they can best realize their goals. The students and National Guard members talked about what career paths students might go down and how the National Guard could help them meet their goals.

Staff Sergeant Joseph Craig is the recruiter for Rhea County High School. He talks to students and assists them in building their plans. Sargeant Craig helps students make the best career path decision that fits their strengths and needs. Students are more successful if they choose a career path that will benefit them in the military and in civilian life . The National Guard is there to help students build a solid future and earn success in life.
