Jimmy Ray Smith, age 48, passed away May 30,2024, at his residence in Graysville, TN.  He was born May 30,1976, in Rhea County, TN, to Lonnie Jr. and Mary (Steel) Smith. He was a lifelong resident and loved working on cars, and spending time outdoors. He worked at Lazy Boy furniture manufacturing for over 18 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Jr. and Mary (Steel) Smith.

Jimmy is survived by his three children, Thomas, Dylan, and Veada Smith; sister, (Waynett) Carolyn (Andrew) Smith; brothers, Donnie Smith and DeWayne Auther; grandchild, Kota; nieces and nephews, Brittany Pomery, Ashley Gates, Lauren, Ashley, Tyler, Danielle, Gregory, and Spencer, TJ, Jaxon Auther, and David Hughes.

Visitation will be Friday, June 7, 2024, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, TN.  Funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel, with burial at Smyrna Cemetery.
