September 4, 1949 ~ June 16, 2025

Jerry Lynn Miller, 75, of Sale Creek, peacefully entered the arms of his Savior on June 16, 2025. Born on September 4, 1949, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Betty.
Jerry lived a life deeply rooted in faith, family, and music. A true servant of Christ, Jerry loved Jesus with every fiber of his being. His knowledge of the Bible was unmatched—he could recount every story with ease and always shared the verse and story for every occasion in our lives. His faith wasn’t just something he spoke about; it was how he lived every single day! Everyone he met, he greeted with a big hug or a firm handshake and made them part of the family from that moment forward.
Jerry carried a quiet strength and an unshakable work ethic, always doing what needed to be done to provide for his family. He didn’t seek recognition—he simply showed up, gave his all, and made sure those he loved were taken care of. His hands bore the marks of labor, but they were also the same hands that gave the most loving, unforgettable bear hugs.
Surrounded by a family full of girls—his daughters, Joy Francisco and Angie Stults(Mark), granddaughters, Alexia Knapp(Joe), Sydney Francisco, Josie Jordan, Tori Burton(Logan), and Taylor Creasman(Donnie) and great-granddaughters, Harper and Heidi —Jerry was their rock, their protector, and their proudest supporter. His great-grandsons, Carter and Cash also held a very special place in his heart as the rare boys among his cherished girls.
Music was the rhythm of Jerry’s soul. He was always humming a tune, and his guitar and banjo were never far from reach. Whether playing a hymn or a gospel song, music was his way of sharing his love for Christ and bringing people together.
Jerry’s legacy is first and foremost, spreading the good news that salvation is obtained through Jesus and his gentle strength and love for his family never ceased.
We will always love you, Papa
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
