Evensville, TN -- Hunter Crowe recently signed to attend Brevard College in North Carolina and play football, looking to play linebacker. Hunter began playing football at a young age in youth football league in Georgia around the age of 4 and moved to Rhea County in 2015. Hunter played for Coach Anthony Loden at Spring City Middle School before moving up to Rhea County High School in 2020.
Why did you decide on Brevard?
"The coaches really made me feel at home on my visit. They did their research and knew a lot about me and made me feel like home."
What made you want to go into engineering?
"In my freshman year, I really took time to think about what I wanted to do for the next four years preparing for college. My dad is engineering technician and he gave me a tour at his workplace. I am a engineering CTE student and Mrs Massengill does a great job with the CTE program and Mr. Beaty is a good teacher."
I hear you are big into weightlifting, What are some of your lift numbers.
"I love to workout. I squat 700(lbs), power clean 315(lbs) and bench about 300(lbs)."
