Greg Human age 62 of Grandview, Tennessee died on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, Tennessee.

He was born on March 9, 1962 to the late Henry C. and Alice Jane King Human Jr. and has lived in this area since 1976. Greg was a graduate of Rhea County High School. In his career he was a deputy with Rhea County Sheriff’s Department and then as a Spring City auxiliary police officer. Greg owned and operated Sunny Days Restaurant in Spring City and was an agent with American General Insurance. He worked for 19 years at TVA- Watts Bar as a Security Officer. Greg was a member of Rhea Springs Lodge #310 and Drummond Council #483. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and riding motorcycles. Greg was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Tammy Human of Spring City, Tennessee; his children Jonathan Human of Crossville, Tennessee, Andrew (Ashley) Human, Seth Human, Hunter Human, and Matthew Human all of Grandview, Tennessee; his four grandchildren Leila, Teagan, Brennan, and Braelyn Human; and his beloved dogs “Doodle” and “Bruce”.

Funeral services with Masonic services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. David Brock officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Vaughn Funeral Home.
