May 27, 1956 - June 20, 2024

E. Michael Hurton, age 68 of Red Wing, Minnesota, and more recently of Spring City, Tennessee, passed away at Rhea Medical Center on Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, on May 27, 1956, the son of the late Edward and Judith (Manning) Hurton.

Michael was a high school graduate and was employed by BHI Energy as a Radiation Protection Technician and was recently a contract worker at TVA in Spring City.

Michael is survived by his two daughters, Megan Hurton of Goodview, MN, and Melissa (Brad) Hurton of Red Wing, MN; his son, Anthony (Angela) Hurton of Red Wing, MN; his grandchildren, Addison Peterson, ReayAnn Tipton, WestLynn Tipton, Haisley Tipton, Marlow Tipton, Charley Smith, and Ada Hurton; and his grand-pup, Bear.
