DOJ Fundraiser will be held at the American Legion Post 95 in East Brainerd
Doors Open Jazz (DOJ) Fund Raiser on Thursday, April 27, 2023, 7pm-9pm @ The American Legion Post 95, located at 3329 Ringgold Road, East Brainerd, Chattanooga. Doors Open Jazz, (DOJ) is a not-for-profit 501c3 that provides free music lessons by musicians, to underserved youth in Chattanooga. Funds raised at this event support the DOJ Scholarship program.
There will be music, dancing, silent auction baskets, artwork, a 50/50 raffle, with tickets to win some cool prizes being sold. Light snacks and beverages and free parking are included. However, dinner menu items will be available for separate purchase at the American Legion's kitchen.
Tickets are $10.00 each, live music provided by Scenic City Sound Big Band of Chattanooga. The Chattanooga Vintage Dancers will be there to liven up the festivities as well. Contact DOJ Board member, Dr. Terri Hall at terrihall3@gmail.com for tickets or to make donations to

Scenic City Sound is comprised of talented local amateur and professional musicians who love big band. Many of these musicians have played together for over 15 years. We are from the Chattanooga TN, Cleveland TN and North Georgia areas.

Founded in 2018 Doors Open Jazz is non-profit organization committed to the empowerment of under-served youth in the Chattanooga area by providing a musical education on a sliding scale based on what the family can afford.
We have served over 60 kids in the Chattanooga TN area since our inception in 2018 and are expanding rapidly with the support of your donations and volunteerism. We are a IRS recognized 501c3 so all donations are tax deductible.
