Evensville, TN -- Dayton City School hosted Rockwood Middle School on Thursday, August 29, 2024. The Sweatbees celebrated 8th great night at the game, curing halftime. DCS scored their first touchdown with 4:41 left in the first half with Barnes finding King from 34 yards out. Barnes then found Sanchez for the 2-point conversion pass to give DCS the 8-0 lead going into halftime. In the second half the Sweatbees scored touchdowns in the 3rd and 4th quarters but were unsuccessful on their extra point attempts. O'Rafferty scored two touchdowns in the second, one on a 6 yard run and the other on an 18 yard run. Rhea Middle was unsuccessful on the extra point attempts for the 20-0 score.

Dayton City will travel to Marion County High School on Thursday, September 5th to play Jasper with a 7 pm kickoff scheduled. High School field is located at 160 Ridley Drive in Jasper, Tennessee.
