Dayton City Wins 47-24

January 16, 2020 Evensville, TN -- Dayton City School improved their season record to 17-3 with their 47-22 win over Rhea Middle on Thursday night on campus of Rhea Middle School. Dayton City School raced out to a 13-4 first quarter lead and continued to build up to 23-8 halftime lead. Sweat Bees continued strong in the second half for the 47-24 win. Leading the way for the Bees was Bryce Dupre with 26 points as well as double figures in rebounds. Dupre was a beast on defensive side of the ball with several blocks. Also scoring for the Bees were: Kyler Akin 8, Rex Pendergrass 7, Ethan Davis 4 and Dawson Mickel 2. Leading the way for Rhea Middle was the duo of Kaleb Martin and Sean Norman with 12 and 10 points respectively. Briley Mayberry added 2 points to complete the scoring. DCS 58 Loudon 41 In their previous game at Loudon, the Sweat Bees won 58-41.  Rex Pendergrass led all scorers in that game with 27 points.  Also scoring for Dayton City School was Dupre 15, Ethan Davis 7, Kyler Akin 5 and Dawson Mickel 1.
