Carder Will Respresent DYW in her Senior Year

Dayton, TN -- Camryn Carder won the competition and was crowned Distingished Young Woman of 2021. Camryn and 14 other juniors in high school competed this weekend amid lots of restrictions because of covid-19. Thanks to lots of hard work by volunteers and participants the competition was a success. First alternate for the competition was Baylee McCoy. Second alternate selected was Adelyn Benoit. Third alternate selected was Noelle Clark. Scholarships were awarded for winner($3000), 1st alternate($1000), 2nd alternate($700) and 3rd alternate($400). Camryn will represent Rhea County at state level, which normally occurs in July. This year the competition has been moved to January.
