Betty Jo (Hall) Curtin, age 90 of Spring City, passed away at Spring City Care and Rehab Center on Sunday, December 22, 2024. She was born in Rhea County on August 24, 1934, the daughter of the late John Gross and Mary (Crowe) Hall. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Ann Colbaugh; her special son, Bobby Curtin; her brothers, Bobby “Bunchie” Hall, Billy Ray Hall and Jerry Mac Hall; and her sister Debra Bevins.

Betty lived in Soddy-Daisy since 1986, previously living in Marietta, GA, and Red Bank. She was the former secretary and treasurer of Black Hawk Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.

A graveside funeral service for Betty at Buttram Cemetery will be on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Woychuk officiating.
