March 6, 1948 ~ February 20, 2025

Barbara Ann (Hall) Bird, age 76, of Spring City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at Spring City Care and Rehab on February 20, 2025. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on March 6, 1948, to the late D.B. and Josie Ada (Greer) Hall.
Barbara was a devoted member of the Baptist faith, where she found joy in Bible study and singing in the choir. One of her greatest passions was her love for Elvis Presley, who was her favorite artist. Barbara took great pride in her family and will be deeply missed by her 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy.
Known for her kind heart, Barbara was always ready to lend a hand or offer a listening ear. She enjoyed hobbies like cross-stitching, embroidery, and playing card games, but her true gift was in brightening the day of those around her. A social butterfly at heart, she cherished every opportunity to connect with others.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her fiancé W.V. Iles (who passed away in 2009), and her brother and sister-in-law, Jewell and Betty Ray of Dayton.
She is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Bost-Ellis of Jonesboro, Arkansas, her 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Schafer officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Soddy Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
