March 12, 1996 - May 3, 2024

Austin Trey Rice, age 28, passed away May 3, 2024, at his residence.  Trey was a life-long resident of Rhea County and of Christian faith.  He was employed at Lazy Boy Manufacturing and was a new dad. He loved his little boy dearly.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Franklin Rice and Bill Couch; his paternal grandfather, Mark Coulter; and Uncle, William Clinton Rice.

He is survived by his son, Neyland Bentley James Rice; girlfriend, Destiney Hickman of Dayton; parents, Angel Collins, of Dayton, Eddie and Shaye Coulter, of Athens, Tn; Step-mom, Kim Fuller; and special mom, Sissy Warf, of Dayton; three sisters, Chelsea Coulter, Madison Collins, and Emma Rogers; six brothers, Taylor Collins, Jacob and Cole Rogers, Jeremy, Seth and Nic Fuller; maternal grandmother, Judy Couch; paternal grandmother, Debra Hellstrom; Step-grandparents, Jackie and Towanna Plaster, and Barbara Moses; and Aunt and Uncle, Barbie and Jeff Coulter; several nieces and nephews, and many cousins and special friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  The funeral service will be Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.
