RCHS Volleyball Celebrates 2024 Seniors

Lady Eagles Win At Home vs McMinn and Celebrate Seniors Melissa Watt and Erin Stolz

October 2024 - Evensville, TN -- Rhea County Volleyball took time before their varsity match vs McMinn County to honor two seniors for the 2024 class. # 2 Erin Stolz and # 18 Melissa Watt were celebrated with announcements, gifts and hugs from coaches and teammates.

Erin was escorted by Jason Stolz and Melissa Beach. Erin is a pin hitter and Middle blocker. Erin has played volleyball for 6 years.

Melissa was escorted by Jarrel and Annette Watt. Melissa is a ssetter. Melissa has played volleyball for 6 years. Her plans after high school are to attend university and double major in Psychology and English. Congrats on Erin as she set the school record this year with 21 kills in a match.

Rhea County High School coach Stephanie Poe said, "I could not ask for two better people to be a part of this program. They are both the kind that would come in early and stay late. They are the kind of kids that coaches dream about. Best attitudes, Always helpful, and I our younger class men really had two amazing seniors to look up to. I know they are going to do great things in life and I am thankful I got to be their coach these past four years."

After the ceremony, Rhea Couny won over McMinn County in a 4 set match. Scoress for the sets: 1 set 21-25, 2nd 25-18, 3rd 25-18, and 4th 25-22
