June 26—Wilson and Cross
The Rhea Heritage Preservation Foundation has just announced the schedule for its
seventh annual Nokian Tyres Summer Nights concert series. The 2026 lineup is
identical to 2025 since three of the four concerts last year were rained out. These
country, blues and bluegrass acts will be returning to the Rhea County Courthouse
outdoor stage this June, Fridays at 6:30.
To raise awareness, Nokian Tyres will give away a set of tires on the last night of the
festival. The company makes all-season and all-weather tires in Dayton and sells them
throughout the United States and Canada.
Rex and the Ramblers will kick off Summer Nights on June 5. The East Tennessee trio
consists of three brothers, Rex, Billy A., and Joe King. They play a limited number of
engagements each year, sharing their soulful, rockin’, country, funky blues sound with a
loyal following.
Country guitarist Eddie Beavers will take the stage June 12. Beavers lives near Nashville
and has deep roots in classic country, southern rock, blues, and soul. His powerful,
authentic delivery promises an unforgettable live experience.
The local Michael Seabolt Band will be featured June 19. The band primarily plays
classic rock from the ’70s and ’80s. Michael Seabolt, a long-time Spring City resident, is
the band’s founder, namesake and lead guitarist. James Brand from Spring City plays
the drums. Russ Wise from Evensville is the lead singer. Dayton native Adam Suttles
plays bass guitar. Jackie Wagoner McAbee lives in Dayton and is a lead singer and
backup vocalist.
Wilson and Cross, an East Tennessee bluegrass band, will close out this year’s concert
series on June 26. Members of the band include Johnny Wilson from Spring City singing
lead and playing upright bass, Logan Cross from Cleveland, sings lead and plays banjo,
Nate Demaria from Chattanooga plays fiddle, Todd Standridge from Tellico Plains, plays
lead guitar and mandolin, and Lucas Holder from Louisville, Tennessee, sings lead and
