Distinguished Young Woman Brings Diverse Talent to Program for 2026

16 Young Women Will Compete For the Crown on May 16, 2026, Bringing Various Talets to the Stage

Sixteen Young Women will be competing at 2026 Distinguished Young Woman Program, Competing in Scholastics, Fitness, Self Expression, Interview and Talent Categories. These young ladies can be unique with their talent category. Most of the standard talent categories will be in display with a good mix of dance, playing instruments and voice talents to be on display on May 16, 2026. These 16 young ladies are juniors in high school and this whole process that includes several weeks of community projects and bonding has been credited by young veterans of the process and being a positive force in their lives and careers. The young ladies who compete in the program also have the opportunity to come back and be involved with the program every years as veterans of the program are involved in the planning and execution of the Distinguished Young Woman of Rhea County and in the same program in other cities around the State and the United States.
