Mrs. Karen Ruth Hicks Doolittle, 55, of Dayton, TN went to be in the arms of her Lord along with her mother, Charlotte Beard, January 23, 2026 in Sweetwater, TN. A resident of the area most of her life, living away for a brief time and moving back after finding the love of her life. Karen was a faithful servant of God and a member of Concord Union Baptist Church.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Cleston Ray Hicks.

Karen leaves behind her devoted husband, Thomas Doolittle, Jr.; loving children, Danielle Renee (Christopher) Armstrong, Thomas Leon (Lillian Rae) Doolittle, III, and Dustin Ray Doolittle; brother, Tim (Rebecca) Hicks; four grandchildren, Josie and Teddy Armstrong and Tommy and Delilah Doolittle; along with her nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 2PM in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Dew officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time. Karen will be laid to rest in the Concord Cemetery following the service.
