Margie Ann Lawson, age 84, of Evensville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on December 30, 2025. She was born on June 8, 1941, in Rhea County to the late H.T. and Frances Allen Dillard.

A lifelong resident of Rhea County, Margie was a devoted member of the Rockwood Church of God of Prophecy. She was a high school graduate and devoted her life to being a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with her family, but above all, she placed God at the center of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clarence Lawson, her son Timothy and wife Kathy Davis, brothers, Johnny Dillard of Dayton, Carlos Dillard of Nashville, H.D. Dillard of Dayton, and Robert Dillard of Spring City, Tennessee.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca A. (Winford) Henderson of Evensville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Natosha (Chris) Istre, Brandon Henderson, Beth (Tristan) Littleton, and Benji (Dani) Henderson; great-grandchildren, Leah, Elijah, Asa, and Dawn; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary Dillard and Pastor Charles Shepherd officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
