December 26, 1965 ~ October 15, 2025 

Brent Middlebrooks, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at his residence. He was born on December 26, 1965, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, to Troy and Joann (Martin) Middlebrooks.

Brent had lived in the area since 1999. He was an electrician by trade and of the Pentecostal faith. He was a devoted son, a loving father, and a proud papaw.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Lynn Middlebrooks, and his grandparents.

He is survived by his parents, Troy and Joann Middlebrooks; his three children, Nick (Katherine) Middlebrooks of Dayton, Tennessee, Tyler (Julianna) Middlebrooks of Elwood, Indiana, and Ashley (Clifton) James of McMinnville, Tennessee; stepchildren, James (Edna) Newman, Matthew Newman, and Jessica Newman; his brother, Jason (Janet) Middlebrooks of Jasper, Tennessee; sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; two nieces; and one nephew.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at McNabb Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
