Addie Hughes Hits For Second Hat Trick of the Season

On Tuesday, 8 26, 25, the Eagles traveled to Ocoee on Tuesday evening for a nice game in the beautiful Ray Conn Sports Complex facility. The Eagles quickly started off dominating the game with a goal in the first 2 minutes by Bryn Fitzgerald, assisted by Addie Hughes. Addie would go on to complete her 2nd hat trick of the season with 3 goals (2 assists by Millie Darnell, and 1 assist by Bryn) and 2 assists of the game, while Bryn would finish with 2 goals and 1 assist for the game. Leah Daniel stole a ball down on the Eagle’s defensive end, took off, and dribbled up 80 yards to finish off with a shot and goal on net, a thing of beauty to watch! The movement of the ball on the Eagle’s end has picked up nicely over the season and everyone on the bench got plenty of time in the game as well. Eagles finished with a 6-0 win, bringing their district record to 4-1.

The JV squad faces off at Chilhowee on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd for a 5:30pm game, and the Varsity travels to Sweetwater on Sept. 4th for a 5pm game.
