Mr. Thomas Lee Garrison, age 85, of Dayton, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 23, 1940, in Spring City, TN, Thomas Lee was the son of the late Marion and Mary Catherine Garrison, and stepson of the late Harvey Clinton. Known for his infectious humor and love for a good prank, Thomas Lee brought laughter and joy to all who knew him. His quick wit, light-hearted nature, and occasional tattletale tendencies were a beloved part of his charm.

A man of deep faith, Thomas Lee loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, cherished his family, and was a devoted Tennessee Vols fan. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear.

He is preceded in death by his parents and step-father.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Mary Hodge Garrison; children, Lisa McClellan, Greg (Wiola) Garrison, Johnathan Garrison, Jason (Jennifer) Garrison, Kim Walker, and Crystal (Paul) Vest; sister, Shirley (Howard Thickman) Dorsey; brother, Donald (Brenda) Garrison; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, with Pastor Kevin Fugate officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Smith-Wilkey Cemetery.

Thomas Lee will be remembered always for the joy he brought into the world, the love he gave so freely, and the faith that guided his every step.
