Karen F. Clark Obituary

March 22, 1950 - May 10, 2025

Karen F. Clark, age 75 of Birchwood, passed away at her home on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was born in Chattanooga on March 22, 1950, the daughter of Edwin Eugene Faulkner, Sr. and the late Mary Anne (Goolsby) Faulkner. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Eugene Faulkner, Jr.

Karen was a 1968 graduate of Chattanooga City High School, attended Tennessee Temple University, and lived in Birchwood for the past 26 years. She was an interior designer at Clark Interiors, was a master gardener, was a member of the Red Hat Society, and was a member of Dayton First Baptist Church.

Karen is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Wilburn Clark, Sr., of Birchwood; her father, Edwin Eugene Faulkner, Sr., of Birchwood; her son, Charles “Chad” (Julie) Clark II of Chattanooga, her two daughters, Katherine Clark of Birchwood and Jamie (Chris) King of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Andrew) Garcia, Holden (Bree) Reeves, Bryce Clark, Megan Clark, and Jordan Clark; her brother, Danny (Jeanne) Faulkner of Griffin, Georgia; and her niece and nephews.

Funeral services for Karen will be in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Milton Knox officiating. She will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memory Gardens East in Chattanooga on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee, where they will receive friends on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
