Lady Eagle Basketball Wins 54-33 behind Lockhart's 21

Madisonville, TN -- Rhea County Lady Eagle basketball travelled to Madisonville on Monday, February 3, 2025 for a game against Sequoyah High School. It was Sequoyah with the good start resulting in a 14-8 first quarter advantage. Rhea battleD back to take the lead at the half 27-24 with seven different players making the scorebook. It was Lockhart with 8 points to power the Lady Eagles in the 3rd quarter to 17-2 advantage. Rhea rod the strong 3rd quarter performance to a nice 54-33 win.Lockhart led Eagles with 21 and Cammie Ruehling and Jenna Bburchard each made double figures with 10 points each. Burchard and Sharp each pulled down 5 rebounds to lead the Lady Eagles in that category.
