Alex Green Named As Rhea Economic & Tourism Council, Inc. Executive Director

Green Appointment Effective May 13

Dayton, TN, February 16 — Rhea Economic and Tourism Council, Inc. (RETC) has announced the addition of Rhea County native, Alex Green as the new RETC Executive Director effective May 13, 2024. In this new capacity, Green will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and implementing strategies as outlined by the RETC’s Executive Board and to promote economic growth and tourism in Rhea County.

Before joining RETC, Green brings varied experience to include marketing, communications, public relations, as well as editing and business reporting. Green also volunteers locally and is the President of the United Way of Rhea County, Director at the Dayton Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Dayton Rotary Club.

According to RETC Executive Chairman, Stephania Motes, “RETC is pleased to be adding an individual with such skills and experience to help meet our goals for economic growth in Rhea County. We look forward to welcoming Alex as the Executive Director of RETC on May 13.”
