Did you have a favorite teacher during your school years and why?
"My favorite teacher was, Rebekah James. She was the one to go to when anyone had a problem. Charles Benton was great for always making sure I was smiling down the halls and giving me fist pumps."
What are your plans after high school?
"I will be continuing my education at Cleveland State where, I will be pursuing a degree in Nursing. I will also be playing softball on a collegiate level and hope to be an asset to my team."
What are some of your hobbies and interests outside of sports?
"Softball is my passion but fishing is my "go to" when I just want to relax."
Why do you love most about softball and what do you like the least?
"I love the intensity of the game and the family bond that the team has and the memories we make. The thing I like the least would have to be bad calls in close situations."
What was your favorite memory during your softball career?
"My favorite memory was beating Sale Creek. "we came ready to beat Sale creek and that came ready to beat us. There were close situations to where they could’ve beat us but we didn’t give up. When we had bases loaded and I was up to bat with two strikes on me, it was a lot of pressure. I knew what I had to do to win and that’s what we did"
What was the impact of losing your senior softball season and last part of your senior year?
"I realized that we are not promised anything and losing my senior year of softball has robbed me of goals I wanted to achieve and set before I left Rhea County High School. I feel like it’s memories that can’t be replaced and all of our senior class probably feels that way .Everything happens for a reason and for me it’s a new beginning to my future, but I will always remember my time on the field as a Rhea County Eagle!"
Did you have a favorite athlete you followed growing up if any?
"My favorite was Raven Chavanne, who played at University of Tennessee."
