Eagles Won 42-14 Over Gibbs in 2019

Evensville, TN -- Rhea County host Gibbs on Friday at 7:30 pm.  Gibbs comes into game with 2-3 record.  They are 1-2 in 5A-Region 2, which is led by Carter, with 2-0 record.  Eagles are 4-0 on season and 2-0 in 5A Region 4 play, with wins over Walker Valley and Lenoir City.

 They have common opponent, Carter, which was the opening day win for the Eagles.   Eagles played at Gibbs last year and won 42-14.  Eagles were lead on the ground by Dalton Hampton with 127 yards on 20 carries and by Jackson Langley who tallied 95 yards on 12 carries. On defense, Jared Fisher lead the Eagles with 8 tackle and Bradley Goodwin and Avery Alday each had 7 tackles for the Eagles.  Gavvin Roddy and Dillon Reed each had interceptions.  Bradley Goodwin had a fumble recovery also for Rhea County.  Five different Eagles scored touchdowns: Kyle Carr, Jackson Langley, Eli Johnson and Bradley Goodwin.

As usual, COVID-19 social distancing and mask will be required for entry and temperature checks will be performed before entry into stadium.
