June 5, 1943 - June 3, 2025

Truman Charles “T.C.” Cash age 81 of Spring City passed away on Tuesday June 3, 2025 at Golden Years Retirement Resort in Spring City.

He was born on June 5, 1943 and was the only child of the late Malcom and Cecile Monday Cash. T.C. graduated from Spring City High School and was employed for 13 years with DuPont in Chattanooga. He then established T. C. Cash Excavating and operated it for over 37 years. T.C. served his country by serving in the National Guard Reserve for six years. He was a member of the Spring City Methodist Church. T.C. also enjoyed car racing, both NASCAR and local stock car racing.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Lauretta Daniel Cash, sons Casey (Andrea) Cash of Spring City and Preston (Sandy) Cash of Knoxville and two granddaughters Presley and Anna Cash.

Funeral services will be Tuesday June 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. David Grant officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 to 2 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home.
